Administrative Assistant – National product team/procurement – Coppell, TX

The National Product Group focuses on ensuring Rentex Audio Visual & Computer Rentals maintains the highest level of technical expertise in the A/V Rental industry. What you will do.
- Collaborate daily with team on a high volume of purchase requests and repair coordination
- Create and issue purchase orders to vendors for replacement parts and new inventory purchases.
- Attend weekly repair calls and record actionable items related to repair coordination.
- Creates weekly repair transfer orders within inventory tracking system.
- Maintain (and/or create) filing systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Contact and schedule interviews with job candidates.
- Assist with HR duties to include onboarding, time and attendance, employee relations, and administrative duties.
- Prepare, record, and retrieve information from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepare written summaries of data.
- Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
- Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings, and appointments for team members.
- Reconcile purchase requests in expense tracking software.
About you.
- You are organized and can handle multiple projects at one time.
- You have proven advanced skills in the MS Office Suite (Primarily Excel)
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have great interpersonal and customer service skills
- You are extremely detail oriented.
- You have a willingness to take on new tasks.
- Be able to work independently and within a team.
- Experience with an audio-visual rental Inventory software system is a huge plus but not required.
- Prior experience in the audio-visual industry also preferred.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in an administrative role preferably withing a procurement environment.
