Customer Service Manager
Rentex Audio Visual & Computer Rentals is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Manager to support Account Managers in renting audiovisual and computer equipment to clients. This role plays a key part in maintaining Rentex’s reputation for exceptional service by responding to customer requests, writing orders, and ensuring clear communication across teams. The ideal candidate brings AV knowledge, a strong service mindset, and the ability to manage a high volume of customer interactions in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
- Provide excellent customer service to both external customers and internal teams
- Assist Account Managers by responding to customer inquiries and preparing rental orders
- Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls and emails efficiently and professionally
- Maintain clear, concise communication with customers and co-workers
- Collaborate effectively with Operations, Logistics, and other cross-functional teams
- Continuously improve knowledge of Rentex rental inventory through self-study and internal training
- Stay current with trends and initiatives within the audiovisual and computer rental industry
- Support process improvements that enhance customer experience
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

AV & Technical Knowledge
- Prior AV experience required, preferably in a live event environment
- General working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and computer equipment
- Ability to translate technical information into customer-friendly solutions

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Some college coursework preferred
