General Manager
Rentex Audio Visual & Computer Rentals is seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead operations at our Las Vegas, NV location.

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including layout, scheduling, equipment maintenance, fleet, facility, dispatch, organization, and personnel. This role requires balancing leadership of a local team while operating within a larger, coast-to-coast organization. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong leadership, and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily flow of equipment through the warehouse
- Coordinate inbound, outbound, and trucking departments to maximize efficiency
- Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans and reporting
- Facilitate same-day orders and rapid equipment turnaround
- Anticipate operational challenges and proactively implement solutions
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and workflow
- Maintain appropriate levels of warehouse supplies and consumables
- Provide daily leadership, direction, and accountability to team members
- Allocate personnel resources based on business demand
- Train, coach, and develop warehouse staff
Leadership Responsibilities
- Coach and develop team members while building strong leadership within the branch
- Ensure the branch operates efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company standards
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture
- Partner with the Vice President of Operations and Director of Operations to drive branch success
- Take full ownership of branch performance, operations, and team development
- Serve as the connection between national leadership and the local team
- Support and execute national initiatives and company-wide strategies
- Contribute to cross-functional and national projects beyond the local branch
- Promote alignment and loyalty to the broader Rentex organization

Work Environment
This position operates in both warehouse and office environments and requires frequent interaction with operations staff and leadership teams.
Position Type & Hours of Work
This is a full-time leadership position. Work hours may vary based on business needs and may include extended hours during peak periods.
Education and Experience
Experience & Skills
- 2–3 years of warehouse management experience required
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading operations teams of 10 or more employees
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of warehouse layout and operational workflows
- Prior experience in the audiovisual or live event industry is preferred
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- An equivalent combination of education and experience is accepted
