Overview

The Blackmagic DeckLink 8K Pro G2 is a high-performance PCIe capture and playback card designed for advanced video production, broadcast, and media server workflows. It supports 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.1 for high-resolution video pipelines. The DeckLink 8K Pro G2 supports 8- and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 as well as 10- and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 with full Rec. 2020 color. The card allows working at up to 120 fps in HD and 4K, and up to 60 fps in 8K. The four 12G-SDI connections also support up to 64 channels of embedded audio. It is compatible with 8- and 16-lane PCI Express slots on macOS, Windows, and Linux systems and requires 2 PCI slots plus connection to computer power supply. The DeckLink 8K Pro G2 is ideal for the next generation of high-resolution, high frame rate, and high dynamic range workflows.
