The Pixelhue Q8 is a flagship-grade presentation switcher designed for high-end live events, offering massive real-time 4K video processing power and a highly modular architecture. It is built to handle the most demanding visual environments, from large-scale corporate galas to complex LED wall installations.

Massive I/O: Q8 Sports up to 72x 4K input connectors and 64x 4K output connectors in default configuration, and can manage up to 48x 4K inputs and 16x Program 4K outputs simultaneously.

If more combined power is required, link Q8’s using the new QSFP+ Link ports. Superior Layer Management: In switcher mode, the device supports up to 32x 4K mixing layers with true seamless transitions. Thanks to its VPU-based architecture, layer capacity on a single output card can be doubled, ensuring you never run out of resources during a show. Ready for 8K: Beyond standard 4K, the Q8 boasts 8K video processing capabilities. ST2110 support is available on option cards, providing SFP25G ports for high-bandwidth video, audio, and control data transmission over IP networks.

Long-Distance Signal Transmission: The output SFP cages on Q8 can transmit HDMI type signals directly to NovaStar LED controllers (such as the MX40 Pro or H series) over distances up to 10 km using single-mode optical fiber, eliminating the need for external fiber converters for those synergistic workflows.

All-Round Redundancy: Designed for mission-critical applications, the Q8 features full-link backup, including input source backup, device-to-device backup, and power redundancy to ensure uninterrupted operation is possible.

Intuitive Software & Hardware Control: Works seamlessly with the PixelFlow event management software available on Windows, MacOS, or the U series controllers which features a visualized, adaptive UI. Pixelhue is also integrated with Stream Deck (through Companion) for flexible third-party triggering.

Advanced Audio Integration: Dante audio networking is on board (64×64 channels) with AES67 compliance, allowing for sophisticated audio de-embedding and re-embedding and routing directly through the switcher.
