Each Rentex warehouse contains a large inventory of high-quality, name-brand, and reliable audiovisual & computer rental equipment. We have offices across the US and we are growing!
The Dallas office, located in Coppell, TX, has an immediate opening for a full-time Material Handler. Rentex pays competitively and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
The best candidate has strong attention to detail and takes initiative. We need someone with proven expertise driving a stand-up reach truck in narrow aisles. You’ll be assisting our shipping and receiving teams with picking orders, receiving equipment, and putting pallets on the racks. You work with laser precision in narrow aisles, and you have an impeccable safety record.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate a stand-up reach forklift
- Work with fulfillment and quality control teams to restock or pull gear from racks
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Palletize the gear to prepare for shipping
- Assist package fulfillment teams in pulling and staging orders
- Follow the direction of the department leader and managers
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a GED
- At least 3 years of experience operating a forklift
- Current forklift operator certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of computers and audio-visual equipment
- Prior experience in live event production
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
