Position Summary

Rentex Audio Visual & Computer Rentals is seeking reliable and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to support our new La Vergne, TN location.

In this fast-paced role, you will help load, unload, and safely operate delivery vehicles. Working closely with dispatch, you will deliver and pick up equipment from customers while ensuring accuracy and providing excellent customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and safely operate delivery vehicles

• Deliver and pick up Rentex equipment

• Provide exceptional customer service at delivery and pickup locations

• Maintain regular communication with dispatch

• Learn and navigate regular delivery routes and customer locations

• Scan equipment in and out of Rentex’s rental system

• Check for missing or damaged equipment and report findings

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

General

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

• Ability to safely lift or move objects up to 50 pounds

Driving Requirements

• Valid in-state driver’s license to operate vehicles up to 25,999 pounds

• DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)

• Clean driving record for the past 3–5 years (no DUIs)

• Preferred: Minimum one (1) year of verifiable experience driving cargo vans, cube trucks, box trucks, or straight trucks up to 26,000 lbs

Work Environment

This position operates in both warehouse and on-road delivery environments, with frequent interaction at customer job sites.

Position Type & Schedule

This is a full-time position. Work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
