Position Summary
Rentex Audio Visual & Computer Rentals is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to support equipment deliveries and pickups for live events. In this fast-paced role, drivers help load, unload, and safely operate delivery vehicles while maintaining clear communication with dispatch and providing excellent service to customers.
The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and takes pride in representing Rentex professionally on every delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and safely operate Rentex delivery vehicles
- Deliver and pick up audiovisual and computer rental equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service at all delivery and pickup locations
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch throughout assigned routes
- Learn and navigate regular delivery locations and routes
- Scan equipment in and out of Rentex’s rental system
- Check for missing or damaged equipment and report findings promptly
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Assist warehouse operations as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Driving Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to safely lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- Valid in-state driver’s license to operate vehicles up to 25,999 pounds
- DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)
- Clean driving record for the past 3–5 years (no DUIs)
- Preferred: at least one (1) year of verifiable experience driving cargo vans, cube trucks, box trucks, or straight trucks up to 26,000 lbs
Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse and on-road delivery environment, with frequent interaction at customer job sites.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and use hands to handle equipment. The employee must be able to safely lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, hourly position. Work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
