Inventory Coordinator – Fort Lauderdale, FL

Position Summary
Rentex Audio Visual & Computer Rentals is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Coordinator to support inventory accuracy and equipment flow at our Pompano Beach, FL location. This role is critical to ensuring rental equipment is properly tracked, accounted for, and available to support live events and customer orders.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where accuracy and accountability are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Track and maintain accurate inventory records for audiovisual and computer rental equipment
- Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Scan equipment in and out of the inventory system accurately
- Coordinate with inbound, outbound, and QC teams to ensure inventory accuracy
- Label, organize, and store equipment in proper locations
- Assist with forecasting equipment availability and workload planning
- Report missing, damaged, or misplaced equipment
- Maintain clean, organized, and accurate inventory areas
- Follow all Rentex inventory control processes and procedures
- Comply with company policies and safety standards
- Assist other warehouse departments as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a warehouse environment with some computer-based work.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and use hands to handle equipment. The employee must be able to safely lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, hourly position. Work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include occasional evenings or weekends.
Preferred Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience preferred
