National Product Coordinator: General AV & Monitors
Summary
Support the Presentation / Display Product Manager for responsibilities including technical support, quality control documentation, repair coordination, packaging/case standards, and spares management. You will help ensure equipment is rent-ready, software and firmware revisions are current, and repairs flow efficiently. You collaborate closely with the Product Manager to identify trends, implement standards, and maintain consistency across branches.
Position Goals
- Documentation: 100% of active SKUs have current QC guides and other branch support information.
- Repair Throughput: Minimize repair cycle time through diligent follow‑up and coordination.
- Support: Acquire a deep understanding of related products to serve as the first resource for product questions.
- Growth: Become a subject matter expert in related categories with the ability to advise product choices and lead training.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor national repair lists, work with branches to complete repairs, or transfer equipment to support business.
- Source appropriate parts from approved vendors; create/track POs as directed.
- Maintain advanced spares inventory for common replacement parts.
- Create purchase orders, communicate with vendors, and administrate onboarding timelines and resources.
- Coordinate receiving and onboarding of new gear with branches (labeling, supplies, timing).
- At the direction of the Product Manager, execute complete purchasing projects requiring multiple vendors
- Draft and update quality control guides, inspection checklists, and other product resources.
- Assist with packaging design and accessory lists for new gear.
- Provide technical support to QC teams; escalate systemic issues or trends to the PM.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 – 4+ years in AV/live events with related hands-on experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proven troubleshooting and documentation skills; detail-oriented and process-driven.
- Comfortable with inventory management software and Microsoft 365.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an equipment rental environment across multiple branches.
- Intermediate or better understanding of generalist AV and display technologies.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Warehouse and office mix; hands-on with equipment and case builds.
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs; travel to branches as needed.
