Logitech Rally Plus is an easy-to-use videoconferencing system that can take the guesswork out of designing for medium to large meeting rooms.
At the heart of the system is the Rally auto-tracking PTZ equipped with a 4k/UHD sensor and 15x optical zoom. RightLight and RightSight technologies combine to automatically frame participants and present them in true to life, flattering and accurate color in a variety of lighting conditions. Auto-tracking may be disabled, and the camera may be controlled by remote or Sync software, with 2 presets available on the remote.
The PTZ is designed for placement near up to 2 in room displays and integrates with the displays and the dual speakers at the Rally Display Hub. These devices are combined to a single link by CAT6a network cable to the Table Hub which also hosts the Mic Pods. Camera and Speakerphone input are provided by USB for use on any video conferencing host computer at the table hub, and 2 HDMI display inputs may pass through the Table Hub, to the Display Hub for use in the room.
Let’s talk about those mic pods – the hardware feeding the RightSound Mic Matrix. Each pod is equipped with 4 microphones providing 8 acoustic zones for beamforming – a total of 56 active zones to lock in on active speakers. Each pod combines background noise suppression, Acoustic Echo Cancellation, and Voice Activity detection while covering a pickup range up to 15ft, with about 6 participants per mic pod and 46 total participants as the recommended maximum. Each Mic Pod has a 9.6ft cable for daisy chaining, and the Rentex included 33ft extension cable can be used at the first pod or between any 2 pods in the run.
