Barco’s FSN series is a high-resolution 3G enabled switcher that combines advanced multi-format production and presentation switching in one highly integrated unit. The FSN integrates input conversion, multi-viewing, digital video effects and output conversion into a single 6 RU chassis.

By seamlessly integrating multiple video and computer graphics formats on a common platform, the FSN series provides a streamlined package that’s modular, easy to operate, and easy on your budget. The FSN allows control of two full mixer-effect (M/E) busses from its control panel as well as the program mixer. Additional auxiliary output cards can be installed for up to 16 AUX outputs, 8 additional mixers, or multi-format outputs and blending.

Pulse by Analog Way is a Dual Scaler Mixer Seamless Switcher with Universal Analog and Digital input/output and Full High Resolution Digital Processing. The Pulse offers up to 10 inputs including 2 fitted with digital DVI and 2 fitted with SDI. SDI is compatible with SD and HD T V formats so is DVI which offers computer formats in addition. With state of the art 100% digital processing, the Pulse outputs Digital and Analog Signals in DVI and VGA (RGBHV) simultaneously with a selection of many formats up to Computer 2K. Pulse provides a high image quality thanks to its true 10 bits SD/HD auto adaptive pixel by pixel 3D motion compensation processing, de-interlacing, auto 3:2 and 2:2 reverse pull down circuitry & processing and Frame follower.

The Barco PDS-902 3G-SDI Digital Switcher features four DVI-I inputs with full HDCP support, one 3G/HD/SD-SDI input, and four analog VGA inputs. All analog and DVI inputs support the EDID 1.3 specification. Users can capture and store up to 3 images that can be used as a logo source during a presentation. Additionally, built-in test patterns are also provided.

The PDS-902 switcher provides simultaneous program output via the DVI and analog VGA connectors. It includes a 3G/HD/SD-SDI output supporting BarcoLink for easy connection to Barco projectors (sold separately). In addition to the program output, the switcher offers a preview output that can be set at different resolutions than the program output. Users have the option of displaying 1 of 3 signals on the preview output, program, preview, or test pattern.

The DCS-100 Dual Channel Switcher from Barco is a dual channel switcher designed to provide seamless switching between different input sources. This model accepts universal analog and DVI input sources and outputs video simultaneously in DVI and analog formats. The switcher allows for a high quality, 10-bit sampling and internal processing/scaling.

The Barco ImagePRO-3G All-In-One Signal Processor is a four-input, six-output seamless switcher, a scaler that handles resolutions from 480-line NTSC up to 1080p HDTV and WUXGA (1920 x 1200), a scan converter that decodes PAL, SECAM & NTSC and encodes NTSC & PAL, an aspect ratio converter, a transcoder, and a de-interlacer. High-performance scaling is handled by Barco’s proprietary Athena technology, a 10-bit image-processing technology that uses horizontal and vertical filtering techniques to provide crisp, clean images for both up- and down-conversion.

The 1080p HDTV format becomes possible thanks to the ImagePRO-3G’s 3G/HD/SD-SDI input and output, which, of course, support SMPTE 424M for 3 Gb/s transfer. Besides this SDI input/output pair, there is also an array of connections for RGB (computer) video sources as well as component, composite, and S-Video; the three input channels for these all feature loop-through. True blackburst genlock input is provided so you can lock all output formats to the blackburst signal, timing together the output of multiple units and eliminating frame-rate conversion problems that would otherwise result in motion artifacts.

The ImagePRO-3G also performs flexible pan & zoom for viewing fine detail in areas of a video frame. Extensive front-panel controls allow you to select sources, adjust setup parameters, store and recall logos, and access menu functions – the menu is viewable on the front panel’s electro-luminescent display.
